Here are some of the topics that are close to my heart. If you are interested in having me at your next speaking engagement please get in touch.
My Journey So Far
We all have a story to tell, and this is mine. Let me share with you my trials and tribulations of a childhood dream of becoming a doctor, to six inch heels, red dirt and business suits from Birdsville to Brisbane, New York and beyond… When life throws you curve balls they are probably for a very good reason…
Growing up in the ‘Back of Beyond‘
What life was like for me growing up in Birdsville: my friends, primary school, travel, boarding school, isolation, drought, floods and flies! And why, no matter how far I go in the world, Birdsville will always and forever be home.
Youth In The Bush: The Future of Business
Young people following their dreams is something I am passionate about supporting. So when I was first asked to talk on this topic, I was humbled and honoured. Here I share my experiences of being a young female business woman.
Table For One Thanks!
My story of traveling to America by myself. I visited Las Vegas, New York, San Diego and Los Angeles. Staying in nice hotels, I took myself out for dinner (i.e “Table for one thanks…”) and got the good seats at the theater (there’s always one spare seat up front!). At the heart of this story, is a lesson in having the courage to believe in yourself, overcome your fears and follow your dreams! The rewards far out way the awkward moments along the way.
